Kew Retail Park is an important site in Kew jointly owned by St George and Marks & Spencer. The site has been allocated in the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames draft Local Plan for comprehensive residential-led, mixed-use development. The redevelopment of the retail park provides an opportunity to bring forward high-quality new homes, replacement retail, and local amenities, as well as improved public realm and connections through the site.

This Create Communities platform will be open until 12noon Thursday 23 June and provides you with the opportunity to give your views about the local neighbourhood and the future redevelopment of Kew Retail Park site itself.

How to make a comment?

Find a location on the plan that you like or dislike and click on it - we have put a boundary line to indicate the site area. You can comment on places both within and around the site.
Choose a colour, green (like) or red (dislike), to represent if you like or dislike the particular area.
Then in the text box tell us why you like or dislike the chosen location and also in around 6-10 words tell us your wishes for the future redevelopment of the Kew Retail Park site and its relationship to the surrounding area. You can see other comments made by clicking on the existing green or red circles on the plan.

What happens next?

We will collate and summarise all comments received and add to the outputs of the Community Planning Weekend on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 June (more information at https://www.jtp.co.uk/projects/kewretailpark) and draw up a Vision for Kew Retail Park. This Vision will be reported back to the community on the evening of Tuesday 5 July at The National Archives, along with information on the next steps in the continuing community engagement process.
